Hello! I am Dr. Anderson, ND.

I am an evidence-based naturopathic doctor with a focus in skin and hair, women’s health and health optimization/anti-aging. I take a systems-based, functional medicine approach to both health and disease and truly value the human experience.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Life Science and Organic Chemistry from the University of British Columbia and started my career in biotech working in cancer and autoimmune disorder research. This is where my passion for preventative medicine began and what led me to Toronto to obtain my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I am captivated by learning and am currently pursuing my Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

I am passionate about patient education, mindset, accessible care and the personalization of health care to meet people where they are at. I strive to provide a space that is inspiring and free of judgement and want to help people achieve not only health but happiness because I believe they are one and the same.

I know what it’s like to struggle to be seen and heard. I know what it’s like to be told that symptoms are not real, that nothing can be done to alleviate suffering, and that there’s no reason to hope for better. In my work, I hold space for you to explore the many dimensions of your wellbeing in a safe, non-judgmental environment, where your experience is valued and respected.

I nurture change in the lives of my patients through thoughtful and strategic naturopathic care. I walk alongside you to explore the why, what and how of your health, so we can clear a path to a stronger, healthier, more robust you.

My practice focuses on hormonal health (such as PMS, irregular periods, PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, fertility, thyroid disease) and stress-related illness (fatigue, burnout, insomnia, anxiety, digestive issues). My approach is evidence-informed and patient-centered. It is inclusive of all peoples, all genders, and all bodies.

I do this work to deepen my personal growth and to enhance collective healing. When I support a well community, I’m supporting our ability to reach our highest potential. This isn’t just for me, this isn’t just for you. It’s for us.

After dabbling in various forms of yoga asana for decades, Lindsey’s deep love for yoga didn’t really start until 2019 when she attended her first restorative yoga class, and it changed….. everything. As someone who struggles to feel at home in her own body, Lindsey found restorative yoga to be exactly what her soul needed – a space that gave permission to sit with herself and just be, and to learn to find peace in the being. In a world that constantly drives us to be better, faster, stronger, restorative yoga was a much-needed reminder to slow down, breathe, and feel empowered to be yourself amongst the chaos. It felt like it was the first time in her life where she was able to begin to build a relationship with herself – and as a woman in her 30s, this concept was revolutionary.

This started Lindsey on a path that would completely change the trajectory of her life. After quitting a career that led her into the depths of burnout, depression, and those all-too familiar feelings of being “lost,” Lindsey enrolled in her first 250 YTT at Kind Yoga by Heart, and then her second at YogaSpace specializing in restorative yoga. It was through these trainings that Lindsey came to understand what it means to feel a sense of belonging, and the transformative magic that happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and wholly accepted as they are. Witnessing the ripple effect this has both on a person and their community lit a fire under Lindsey, and it became her mission to create safe spaces for everyone so they, too, can know what it means to feel seen, heard, accepted, and deserving.

Lindsey’s approach to yoga tends to be a bit unconventional. Her classes are always designed to be accessible to all bodies and are full of options and modifications. She encourages her students to get curious about their bodies and connect with themselves in ways that feels authentic to them. She loves to mix mindful, gentle, and intuitive movements with playful hints of spiciness to help people discover their own unique strength, inner rhythm, and find what feels most supportive within their bodies. Her overall attitude both on the mat and off are “we are all capable of doing hard things – why not have some fun while doing it?”

When not teaching yoga, Lindsey loves to write, read, build music playlists, and spend time with her friends, husband, and two derpy cats.
