Hello, I am Dr. Andrea, a dedicated naturopathic doctor and a proud mother of thriving twin girls. I am passionate about motherhood and I love working with women to help them conceive, grow, and raise healthy humans while keeping moms supported and nourished every step of the way. My passion for working in this realm was inspired by my own journey into motherhood, beginning from hormonal regulation pre-pregnancy to the shocking conception of multiples, enduring a ‘high risk’ pregnancy, overcoming obstacles to successfully breastfeed my twins, to the ongoing wholesome nourishment for the health of my family and for myself as a new mother.

As a patient in the medical system of becoming a mother and with the lens of a naturopathic doctor, I discovered many gaps in our current healthcare model I was so grateful for my knowledge of naturopathic modalities. These modalities helped me to become fertile, sustain my pregnancy, prevent complications, support my recovery postpartum, and keep me and my girls healthy all the way through. Since returning to my career, it has been the greatest honour and brings me the most joy to support women as they navigate through pivotal hormonal stages of life from menstrual regulation, fertility optimization, pregnancy support, post-partum care, and the peri-menopausal transition.

I received my Doctorate of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2019. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2010. Between these degrees, I spent a few years travelling the world, exploring new cultures, gaining life skills, learning about myself, and feeding my adventurous soul. When I was ready, I returned home to fulfill my life-long aspiration of becoming a naturopathic doctor and a mother and I am thrilled to have achieved these dreams and to now bring my experience and support back to the community that raised me.

When I’m not busy working or chasing around my toddlers, I can be found frolicking in nature, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning my next adventure to a new part of the world.

I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2018 and from Laurentian University in 2014 with an Honours degree in Kinesiology. It was during my time at Laurentian that I discovered naturopathic medicine during an internship that opened my eyes to evidence based natural medicine and the profound impact it could have on patients lives. It ignited my own healing journey, which really enables me to connect with patients, and understand that treatment needs to be sustainable in order for it to actually work! My goal is to educate, empower and support women with individualized care so that they can feel their best and show up in their lives. My clinical focus includes metabolic issues, women’s health and digestive health meaning I help women with brain fog, low energy, infertility, menstrual issues, anxiety, weight management etc. Dr. Michelle is a professional member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). She is also in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
