I received my four-year post-graduate Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Here I completed a twelve-month clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic, and Sherbourne Health Naturopathic Clinic. Prior to this, I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education, and a minor in Psychology. Throughout my academic and personal health journey, my passion for wellness further developed through working as a fitness instructor, facilitating research, and volunteering at several clinics and related organizations.

I strive to provide inclusive and evidence-informed care through a holistic approach, empowering my patients to take control of their health! I approach each patient individually, addressing the underlying cause of symptoms to put together every piece of the puzzle. With a focus on the mind-body connection and education, I seek to deliver the highest quality care for my patients, leaving them feeling heard, supported, and on their way to being the best version of themselves!

My special interests include hormonal health, mental health, brain health/neurocognitive concerns; and I’m certified in cosmetic acupuncture.

My happy place is by the water so it’s no surprise that when I’m not seeing patients, I love being outdoors (hiking, swimming, snowshoeing, kayaking - you name it!) and travelling. I’m also a huge foodie and I love to try new recipes, so feel free to share your favourite recipes with me!

I’m registered and board-certified with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), and a professional member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND, CAND).

After dabbling in various forms of yoga asana for decades, Lindsey’s deep love for yoga didn’t really start until 2019 when she attended her first restorative yoga class, and it changed….. everything. As someone who struggles to feel at home in her own body, Lindsey found restorative yoga to be exactly what her soul needed – a space that gave permission to sit with herself and just be, and to learn to find peace in the being. In a world that constantly drives us to be better, faster, stronger, restorative yoga was a much-needed reminder to slow down, breathe, and feel empowered to be yourself amongst the chaos. It felt like it was the first time in her life where she was able to begin to build a relationship with herself – and as a woman in her 30s, this concept was revolutionary.

This started Lindsey on a path that would completely change the trajectory of her life. After quitting a career that led her into the depths of burnout, depression, and those all-too familiar feelings of being “lost,” Lindsey enrolled in her first 250 YTT at Kind Yoga by Heart, and then her second at YogaSpace specializing in restorative yoga. It was through these trainings that Lindsey came to understand what it means to feel a sense of belonging, and the transformative magic that happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and wholly accepted as they are. Witnessing the ripple effect this has both on a person and their community lit a fire under Lindsey, and it became her mission to create safe spaces for everyone so they, too, can know what it means to feel seen, heard, accepted, and deserving.

Lindsey’s approach to yoga tends to be a bit unconventional. Her classes are always designed to be accessible to all bodies and are full of options and modifications. She encourages her students to get curious about their bodies and connect with themselves in ways that feels authentic to them. She loves to mix mindful, gentle, and intuitive movements with playful hints of spiciness to help people discover their own unique strength, inner rhythm, and find what feels most supportive within their bodies. Her overall attitude both on the mat and off are “we are all capable of doing hard things – why not have some fun while doing it?”

When not teaching yoga, Lindsey loves to write, read, build music playlists, and spend time with her friends, husband, and two derpy cats.
