Dr. Carmen Aguayo graduated in Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Science. It was during her undergraduate studies that her passion for nutrition as medicine began. Fascinated by the power of food and nutraceuticals, she integrates this approach into her patient care.
During her clinical internship at CCNM, she focused on fertility and reproductive health and completed an externship specializing in hormonal conditions and menopause. These experiences deepened her understanding of the intricate nuances of hormonal health and expanded her expertise in using nutrition and nutraceuticals for healing. Her approach is naturally focused and evidence-based.
Connecting with patients is at the heart of her practice. She finds fulfillment in helping individuals improve their health and witnessing how those improvements lead to a more enriched life. Outside of practice, she is passionate about travel, enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves experimenting with new recipes. She believes in living life to the fullest and understands the frustration of symptoms that can hold people back. Through personalized care and a compassionate approach, she strives to empower her patients to take control of their health journey, fostering lasting improvements in their quality of life.

From a young age, Bianca always wanted to work in the healthcare system, but wasn’t sure in which
capacity. She was introduced to naturopathic medicine after obtaining a Bachelor of Science
degree with honours in the Kinésiologie program at Laurentian University and instantly knew this
was exactly what she was meant to do. From her experience of being put on the birth control pill
at a very young age with period cramps, to being told to stop eating bread as her only option
for dealing with digestive issues and being told to just go home and rest after getting a
concussion, Bianca knew there was a huge lack of education, investigation and resources received in
her care and wanted to change that for others. Bianca wanted the ability to spend time with
patients, validate their concerns and inspire them to make changes.
She continued her education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto
and obtained a Doctor of Naturopathy Degree. Here is where she truly understood the impact that
diet, lifestyle and stress can have on one’s mental, physical and emotional health. Everyone
deserves to feel their best and Bianca believes naturopathic medicine does a great job at increasing
one’s quality of life. It is her mission to support, educate and empower patients to achieve their
goals.
Bianca’s special interests are menstrual concerns, digestive concerns, skin health and fatigue. Bianca
loves taking a whole-body approach to investigate the root cause of concerns while also treating
and managing one’s symptoms by creating individualized treatment plans using diet,
supplements, lifestyle changes, stress management, botanicals and more.
When not seeing patients, you can find Bianca playing sports, enjoying the outdoors or reading a
good book!
Services provided in English and/or French.
